Printing or embroidery?
Some logos you embroider, others you print
Which technique suits you best depends on two things: the logo itself and the fabric it's going on. A fine logo with a colour gradient is difficult to embroider, and embroidery on a shirt worn directly against the skin can feel uncomfortable. Some fabrics simply aren't suited to embroidery at all. To give you a good idea, we have examples of both hanging in our showroom.
When to choose embroidery
- On sturdy fabrics: polos, jackets, softshells, caps
- When you want a premium, high-quality look
- For a logo that needs to last for years, wash after wash
- For corporate clothing and custom clothing lines
When to choose printing?
- On thin fabrics and sportswear worn against the skin
- For large, colourful designs or colour gradients
- When the logo has a lot of fine detail
- When a light, flat finish suits better
Printing is no longer just a sticker
Clothing printing has changed enormously in recent years. Many people still think of printing as a sticker stuck onto a shirt that quickly cracks, tears or peels off. That's no longer the case with us. We work with techniques that hold up far better in the wash and stay clean for longer β techniques you can confidently wear every day.
